Namthing Pine Forest

Ahaldara View Point is situated at the top of Shelpu Hill. From our homestay in Sittong, it will take 10 minutes to walk. You will reach the Ahaldara View Point, and from here you can see Siliguri, Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Stanning View of the Tista River, and obviously Kanchenjunga. The road is in very good condition; there is an entry fee of Rs 20, and you can reach it by car also. To reach the view destination, enjoy walking to get that fantastic 360-degree surrounding view but you need to rotate yourself.
Namthing Pokhri
Namthing Pokhri is a natural lake in Ahaldara, Selpu Khasmahal, and Sittong, West Bengal, India. The lake is situated at an altitude of 4200ft and is a few miles from Ahaldara, which is another popular viewpoint in Sittong. The lake is home to the Himalayan Salamander, which is a rare reptile species. At Namthing Lake, tourists can see different species of birds, butterflies, and salamanders.
